Title: Secure Transaction Processing
Abstract: Many users today rely on their PCs for variety of
e-commerce, government, business, data base access and other
e-transactions unaware of the vulnerability of the systems they use.
There is ac need to (1) raise awareness to the security issue and
(2) offer a low-cost, secure e-commerce solution that enables the
personal computer to assume an important new role in the evolving
digital economy. By moving secure transactions to the desktop, trust
should be created at the very place where transactions actually take
place: the end-user PC, thereby creating a "trusted client."
